ShoreTension proudly announces that after the successful trial in Oman – Salalah, the Port of Salalah ordered 4 ShoreTension systems. All ShoreTension systems will be delivered in May’15, well before the Khareef monsoon season strikes the port in southern Oman. With its portable and flexible properties the ShoreTension units can move between every berth. APMT management confirmed the green mooring device – dynamic mooring without external energy – is a plus to their terminal. Apart from a better terminal performance – more containers per crane per hour – a safer mooring situation – no breaking mooring lines – is achieved.
