Port of Cape Town – South Africa, known for its unpredictable and harsh environmental conditions in terms of swell and wind has implemented ShoreTension to provide safety for its moored vessels.
As safety is a top priority of the Port and container terminal, ShoreTension was contracted. Installation arrangements variate and depend on the requirements.
The added green mooring solution (ShoreTension doesn’t require an external power source) has made a significant change to the terminal performance and safety of moored vessels.
