ShoreTension has installed 6 Dynamic Mooring Systems on a chemical jetty in the Botlek, Rotterdam. A tailor made project in close cooperation with the client and the Port of Rotterdam.
Passing vessel effects are known to cause mooring (safety) issues for vessels. Result: mooring line forces increase, fender forces increase and vessel motion occurs. In various situations vessel mooring lines might even fail.
ShoreTension provides a high pre-tension to it’s main mooring line, controlling vessel motion which results in lower forces and minimized vessel motion.
