ShoreTension® offers the solution to these problems. ShoreTension® ensures that your vessel remains securely and stably moored. The tension on the mooring lines remains constant because the dynamic mooring system regulates itself to user selected set tension limit. ShoreTension® is a dynamic mooring system in the form of a hydraulic cylinder and piston arrangement that operates independently from the conventional vessel mooring arrangement.

ShoreTension® self-generates energy through the movements of the vessel.

When there is less tension on the lines, the ShoreTension system automatically retracts, and when there is more tension then a given threshold, ShoreTension® extends again. This process occurs continuously to maintain constant tension on the ShoreTension® mooring line.

As a result, movements are reduced by up to 90% compared to conventional mooring arrangements.
