ShoreTension proudly announces that OCP has purchased 12 dynamic mooring systems after a very successful trial.
The decision was made after identifying an increased threshold, for vessels in exposed environmental conditions, of more than 100%. Long period waves attacking the West African coast in certain periods of the year can jeopardize safe mooring as well as decrease terminal or Port performances. With the implementation of the ShoreTension technology the boxes of safe mooring and terminal performance are well ticked.
