ShoreTension® proudly announces that it received an order to deliver mooring systems to LimakPort – Iskenderun.
Limakport’s aim, is to have a safe mooring solution for containerships of the whole size range, which are exposed to occasional and unexpected strong offshore wind. The Limak Iskenderun container terminal is located at the most eastern section of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Iskenderun city is at the foot of the Nur Mountains. Strong wind gusts come down these mountains several times and make safe mooring of large vessels difficult.
After a dynamic mooring analyses, ShoreTension® was proven be to most effective to provide a safe berth.
