ShoreTension® proudly announces that after the successful trial in Oman – Salalah, the Port of Salalah ordered 4 ShoreTension® systems. All ShoreTension® systems will be delivered in May’15, well before the Khareef monsoon season strikes the port in southern Oman. With its portable and flexible properties the ShoreTension® units can move between every berth. APMT management confirmed the green mooring device – dynamic mooring without external energy – is a plus to their terminal. Apart from a better terminal performance – more containers per crane per hour – a safer mooring situation – no breaking mooring lines – is achieved.
